EXPERIMENT 03 — AUTOMATION SYSTEMS
Automation Systems
Building automated workflows that collect, analyze, decide, communicate, and record information.
THE EXPERIMENT
From Workflow to System
This experiment explores how individual automation workflows can be designed as connected systems rather than isolated tasks.
The objective is to build workflows that can collect information, process it, make decisions, communicate results, and preserve the information needed for future analysis.
THE SYSTEM
Collect. Analyze. Decide. Communicate.
Automation becomes more useful when different stages of a process are connected into a complete information loop.
Data can be collected from multiple sources, analyzed by logic or AI, routed according to conditions, and delivered to the appropriate destination.
THE LOOP
Observe. Decide. Execute. Record.
The long-term direction is to explore automation systems that do more than execute predefined steps.
They should be able to observe changes, make informed decisions, involve humans when necessary, execute actions, and record what happened.
